This flank steak is a fast and simple weeknight dinner that will look and taste like you spent all day in the kitchen. I allow the flank steak to marinade in the balsamic marinade overnight to deepen the flavor. Throw it on the grill for about 12-14 min and dinner is ready!
-Place the flank steak into a deep dish or gallon size bag.
-Add the balsamic marinade to the flank steak and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, (I let mine sit overnight).
-To cook, place the flank steak on a hot grill. After 6-7 minutes, flip to the other side and allow to cook on that side for 6-7 minutes. (The cooking time depends on how thick the flank steak is and what temperature you prefer your steak.)
-Take off the grill once finished and allow to rest on a cutting board for about 10 minutes.
-Slice the steak into thin slices making sure to go against the grain of the meat.
-Serve with potatoes and veggies and you are all set!
